Puddlefish Platt Ltd was entrusted with a comprehensive roofing project at Te Papapa School, aimed at improving the structural integrity and functionality of over 80% of the school's roofs.
The project involved the complete removal of old, rusted roofing, gutters, downpipes, and Decommissioning of air conditioning units. Structural repairs were carried out to ensure a solid foundation before proceeding with the installation of new insulation, rescrewing, and the application of a high-quality steel and clearlite roofing membrane.
New dektites, flashings, gutters, and downpipes were installed to improve weatherproofing, while the addition of new monkey toes ensured secure roof access for ongoing maintenance. The existing air conditioning units were recommissioned to restore effective climate control for the school.
This extensive project greatly improved the overall condition of the school roof, ensuring a safer, more comfortable environment for students and staff while extending the lifespan of the facility
