Northcote Primary School - Perimeter Security Fencing

Puddlefish Platt Ltd completed a comprehensive perimeter fencing upgrade at Northcote Primary School, improving site safety, security, and access control in line with Ministry of Education requirements.
The project involved the removal of outdated wire fencing and the installation of new custom-made fence panels across approximately 50% of the school boundary. Integrated mowing strips were included as part of the fencing works, providing a cleaner finish and improving long-term maintenance around the perimeter.
The works also included the installation of new vehicle and pedestrian gates, helping the school better manage access for students, staff, visitors, and service vehicles. Careful consideration was given to the layout of the fencing and gates to ensure the upgraded perimeter remained practical, secure, and suitable for the day-to-day operation of the school.
Delivered within an active school environment, the project required careful planning, coordination, and site management to maintain safety and minimise disruption to school activities.
The completed upgrade provides Northcote Primary School with a more secure and compliant boundary, improved access control, and a safer, more welcoming environment for students, staff, and the wider school community.
