Northcote Primary School - Footpath, Sandpits and Playground Drainage

Puddlefish Platt Ltd delivered a comprehensive outdoor improvement project at Northcote Primary School, focused on enhancing the functionality, safety, and year-round usability of the school’s play areas.
The works included the construction of a new concrete pathway linking key classroom blocks, the installation of two purpose-built sandpits, and the implementation of a full drainage system designed to eliminate persistent flooding issues. Previously, much of the play area was unusable for extended periods due to water pooling—this solution now ensures dry, accessible grounds throughout the year.
In addition, two playground zones were fully remediated to provide safer, more engaging outdoor environments for students, supporting both play and physical development in all seasons.
